You must purchase Vertical Visibility if your stand includes any structure or branding above 2.4 metres, including:

· Raised/Tall structures

· Hanging banners

· Rigging

This is because anything above 2.4m gives extra brand exposure and comes with a commercial charge.

Stand plan approval will not be granted until Vertical Visibility is paid for and approved by the organisers.

To arrange, contact your Mining Indaba sales representative or email exhibitors@miningindaba.com Please include:

• Your stand name and number
• The full height of the stand structure
• Any elevated branding or rigging elements

Gearhouse is the only authorised rigging provider at Mining Indaba and the preferred rigger for the event. This is due to their proven expertise, use of state-of-the-art equipment, and strict adherence to load testing and safety checks.

Health and Safety is our top priority, and Gearhouse has been selected to ensure the highest standards of safety, precision, and compliance at the venue.

No third-party rigging is permitted by default.

If you wish to use a third-party rigging company:

• First, you must obtain written approval from the Organiser by emailing your rigging plans and stand design to exhibitors@miningindaba.com

If approved, your rigging plans must be submitted to Gearhouse for:

• Review and structural checks
• Load plotting
• Written approval*

*A fee will apply for all third-party rigging reviews and approval

No rigging will be allowed without Gearhouse’s written sign-off, confirmation of payment for Gearhouses review and purchase of Vertical Visibility.

What is considered rigging?

Any suspended or overhead items, including:

· Banners

· Lighting trusses or grids

· Overhead branding

· Any elements hung via rigging
